YOUNG ADULTS
At CBC, we encourage you to:
1. Connect with the CBC community or another church/campus ministry (for more information go to: www.cboqyouth.ca/postsecondary), and to find ways to serve with friends in these contexts.
2. Find ways to live and share the good news of Jesus in your community, or in places like CBOQ's Avalanche and Blizzard retreats, Camp Kwasind, etc.
3. Get involved in key community events (like the annual CBC Community Block Party) to connect and serve with others.
4.Find a wise spiritual mentor (Ron Watts would make a great one.)
Dr. Ron Watts, has a passion for serving and equipping young adults, and has made his e-mail available for people who are seeking spiritual guidance, or who want to learn more about what the Christian life is all about. If you have any questions, please e-mail Ron at: rfwatts@sympatico.ca. Ron is also planning on starting a facebook blog geared towards helping young adults live to their fullest potential. You can read his biography here.
If you have any questions about the Young Adults Ministry at CBC, or if you would like to join our e-update list to find out more about ways to serve and connect with other young adults, please contact Steve Elshaw at 905-845-2942 or steve@cbcoakville.com.
