Youth/College and Career Announcements

College and Careers Group

Sick of Religion? So was Jesus. We will be meeting on Sunday nights starting in June to talk about Bruxy Cavey's book "The End of Religion". Cavey believes that the Jesus described in the Bible never intended to found a new religion: instead he hoped to break down the very idea of religion as a way to God. If you are interested or want more information, please speak to Steve Elshaw.

Youth Group

We would like to invite all youth to our meetings on Wednesdays, from 7:30 to 9:00.

The Youth Group Fall Retreat takes place from October 17-19th at the Scott Mission Camp in Caledon, Ontario and the cost is $100. Registration begins on Wednesday September 10th and closes on Sunday October 5th.

ESL

English Second Language courses will start on October 1. Free. All welcome. Where?

Sunday School

Sunday School will start September 21st for grades SK to 5 - the grade 6-8 class will start September 28th.

ConneXions Group

Fall is here and our cell group has begun. Twice monthly, on Monday evenings we study, pray and share our lives as Christians. Speak to Shirley Breakwell if you are interested.

Seniors' Bible Study

The first study for the Fall season is on Thursday, September 18 at noon in the Anderson Room. Bring a bag lunch, tea is provided.

Rev. Art Hadley leads us and we will be studying Ephesians. All seniors are welcome. Call Audrey Caldwell if you have any questions.
